Maasai is a tribe that both live in Kenya and Tanzania . During Maasai Tanzania Safari you will explore the northern circuit of Tanzania, including Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Serengeti National Parks, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Natron. These parks are full of amazing wildlife year-round. During the safari you will travel in a 4×4 Landcruiser with a pop-up roof, freezer (or cooler box), binoculars, battery charger and a professional, English-speaking guide. AIRPORT TO ARUSHA HOTEL
You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred by to Arusha for your dinner and overnight stay. If time allows, your guide can take you on a tour of Arusha.
You will see the clock tower, local market and much more. Take the time today to exchange currency and buy a local sim card for calling back home.

After breakfast you will proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons.

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park for game driving and a picnic lunch. This small but scenic park covers an area of only 330 sq. km (127 sq. miles), of which up to 200 sq. km (77 sq. miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion! At some point during your game drive you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here!

After breakfast you will drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing and a picnic lunch. This park is one of the most densely crowded wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals. The crater is often called “Africa’s Eden” and is also considered the eight Natural wonder of the World. A visit to this amazing place is a main draw for tourists coming to Tanzania and undoubtedly a world-class attraction!
Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze will lions sleep and laze in the sun nearby. At dawn, the endangered black rhino will return to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on the dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Maasai herd their cattle and goats over green pasture and through highland slopes. They live alongside the wildlife here as they have done for centuries.

NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast you will drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to Serengeti National Park, enjoying game viewing and a packed lunch en-route. The Serengeti covers over 6,000 square miles of sprawling, unspoiled landscape. Add to that an extraordinary population of resident and migratory animals in a constant bid for survival, and you will begin to understand why this place is often called “the world as it was in the beginning”. As soon as you enter the park the wildlife viewing will begin! Search for leopards and lions and watch in awe as zebra, wildebeest appear from amidst the woodlands and plains.

Spend the full day exploring Serengeti National Park on a game drive. You can opt to have a hot lunch at the camp or eat a picnic in the park. We strongly recommend you wake early for a game drive in order to enjoy the sunrise in the middle of the bush while spotting wild animals in the park.

Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp Mid-range located inside Central Serengeti
After breakfast you will leave the Serengeti and enjoy a game drive en route to Lake Natron. The scenery here is beautiful, especially the Ngarasero Escarpment, the waterfalls, the gorge, Ol Donyo L engai (a still active volcano) and the flamingos across the lake. Today we will go on a walk to the waterfalls. During the walk you will cross the water at different times, at which point you can swim and refresh under the waterfalls.

Wake up early today and wait for the sun to rise on the lake. Make sure you walk around and see the flamingos. We will spend the morning at Lake Natron and finish any activities we didn’t have time for yesterday. After lunch you will the lake and drive to Arusha, arriving in time for dinner.

After breakfast you can go shopping in town or relax at the lodge (time permitting). You will then be transferred to Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport by private car.
