Keep an eye out for the stunning landscapes surrounding Mount Kenya as you continue your journey.

Arrival and Check-in: After passing through Nanyuki, you will arrive at Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy. Ol Pejeta is a renowned conservation area that offers a wide variety of wildlife and incredible attractions. Ol Pejeta is located in the Laikipia region of Kenya, which is known for its stunning scenery. This conservancy lies on a 90,000-acre land located in Laikipia, Kenya. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes), as well as chimpanzees, zebras, giraffes, and many more. You can enjoy views of tea and coffee plantations, Mount Kenya, and the surrounding bushland.

You will check-in at the hotel upon your arrival at Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy. After check-in, necessary refreshments to be provided from the hotel where you will proceed for lunch provided at the hotel.

You can explore Ol Pejeta conservancy by going on game drives, guided walks, or even visiting local villages to learn about their rich culture and traditions immersion residing at Ol Pejeta conservancy immersion that adds a deeper layer to your safari experience and offers insight into the lives of the local communities. Furthermore, you can also enjoy the rugged beauty of the park's landscape, which includes dry riverbeds, acacia forests, and the Ewaso Ng'iro river.

Lunch & Evening Game drive: After checking-in, you’ll proceed to lunch provided at the lodge. Indulge in delicious African cuisine.

During your break from lunch you’ll have time to rest and prepare for evening drive.

The afternoon safaris typically start in the late afternoon, around 3:00 PM. You will be picked up from your lodge/camp and driven into the park in an open-top safari vehicle. This allows you to have a 360-degree view of the animals and scenery. The safaris typically last for 2-3 hours. During this time, you will drive along the park's many dirt roads, looking for animals. Your guide will be experienced in spotting animals, and they will point them out to you.

In the afternoon, the animals are more likely to be active, so you have a better chance of seeing them. You may see lions hunting, elephants bathing, or giraffes browsing for food. You may also see zebras, antelope, and many other animals in their natural habitat at their natural behaviour.

After the afternoon safari, you’ll depart to your hotel. This evening hours you’ll also be privileged to see animals on your way to the Hotel. At the hotel, you’ll have time to refresh from the strenuous day’s activities. You’ll enjoy the beautiful sceneries of the hotel at Ol Pejeta.

Evening Game Drives: In the evening, expect a cinematic view of the sunset at the conservancy as you set to your hotel. The evenings are always stunning with beauty and fun-filled experience. Animals are often seen rushing to their places of sleeping.

At dusk, you’ll be provided with dinner at the hotel and you can have a lovely session at the hotel and also prepare for tented camping and bonfires (the experience may be fun-filled one it is also optional to spend the night at camps you can also chose to spend your night at the hotel/lodge.)

Overnight & Dinner: Dinner will be served at the hotel as you set to enjoy your camping and bonfires. You’ll have a tented camping at Ol Pejeta Wildlife conservancy and bonfires alongside as you enjoy the cool breeze at camps. Early Morning Drive: The early morning drives at Ol Pejeta are always filled with astonishing beauty. You’ll have an opportunity to view clear sun rising as you venture into early drives across the conservancy’s wildlife and beautiful vegetation. Your expectations will be that, you’ll have a prestigious opportunity to view the Kenya’s range of wildlife and a wide variety of fauna as they set to venture their day-to-day activities.

Breakfast: After the morning drive, you’ll be driven back to the hotel for breakfast which will be provided at hotel as well as get the necessary preparations in place for the day’s Safari. You’ll have time to freshen up after breakfast and also prepare for the mid-morning drive.

Mid-Morning Drive: After breakfast, prepare to embark on a thrilling game drive at Ol Pejeta conservancy. The guide will lead you in exploration of the vast and diverse landscapes of the conservancy in search of wildlife at their habitat. The conservancy is a home to all of the ‘Big Five’ (Lion, Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards and Rhinos) as well as an array of other animals such as giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and various antelope species. You can see these animals on game drives, bush walks, or even from the comfort of your lodge. Witnessing these majestic animals in their natural habitat is an experience that will leave you in awe.

Rhinoceros Conservation: Ol Pejeta wildlife conservancy is particularly known for its successful rhinoceros conservation efforts. It is home to a significant population of both black and white rhinos, including the endangered white northern rhinos. The conservancy is one of the few places in the world to see the critically endangered northern white rhinoceros. These critically endangered animals are being cared for by the conservancy in the hope that they can be bred and reintroduced to the wild. You’ll have an opportunity to learn about the conservation initiatives in place to protect these magnificent creatures and the challenges they face.

Chimpanzee Sanctuary: Ol Pejeta is the home too sweet-waters chimpanzee sanctuary, the largest sanctuary for orphaned and abused chimps in East Africa. It also provides a natural habitat orphaned and rescued chimpanzees. You’ll take a guided tour of the sanctuary and learn about these amazing creature’s rescue stories and ongoing conservation efforts and status. You can observe these intelligent and playful primates and again into their behavior and habitat.

Community & conservation Programs: Ol Pejeta is committed to both wildlife conservation and community development. You can learn about various community empowerment projects and initiatives that the conservancy supports. Engaging with the local communities, visit various projects and witness the positive impact of responsible tourism on the people living in the area to have a better enjoyment of your safari at Ol Pejeta.

Lunch: As the day goes by, you’ll be driven back to the hotel for lunch and afterwards you’ll have time to stretch as you further embark again on the afternoon adventures on your safari at Ol Pejeta. You can also opt for packed lunch as you leave the park in the morning and devour it amidst the wildlife in the park at a venue of your choice during the noon hours. Although this is optional, lunch shall always be prepared for you at the hotel.

Afternoon Drives: After lunch you’ll have embark on afternoon safari at Ol Pejeta which is a great way to see abundant wildlife and experience many more variety of adventurous activities such as;

Breakfast & check-out: After the morning drive, you’ll be driven back to the hotel for breakfast provided at hotel as well as get the necessary preparations in place for checking-out. You’ll have time to freshen up after breakfast and also prepare to prepare for a seamless transition from the wilderness to the Kenya’s capital.

After checking-out, your safari starts with a departure from Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy, bidding farewell to the incredible wildlife and beautiful landscapes that you've encountered during your stay. Take in the last views of the conservancy's wildlife as you leave and head towards Nairobi.

Scenic Drive: As you leave the conservancy, embark on a promising scenic drive towards the Airport enjoying breathtaking landscapes as they transform from the vast wilderness of the conservancy to the more developed areas closer to the city. At this point the drive offers opportunity to soak in the beauty of Kenya’s countryside and observe the local villages and towns along the way.

Flight to Nairobi: You’ll be driven in our open top 4x4 wheel Landcruiser to the nearest airstrip for a flight to Nairobi Airport. There are two airlines that offer direct flights from Ol Pejeta to Nairobi. The flight takes about 35 minutes.

Drop off: Arrival at Nairobi, you will be dropped at the hotel/airport by our driver in 4x4 land cruiser taking a moment of all the safari experience and encounters at Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy, the unique and endangered wildlife, conservancy theories, scenic landscapes and beautiful natural features and phenomenon on you way and at Ol Pejeta Wildlife Conservancy.
