Main attractions of Tsavo East and Tsavo West
Tsavo is made up of two separate parks, Tsavo East National Park and Tsavo West National Park. Located in Coast Province of Kenya in between Nairobi City and Mombasa.
Tsavo is nearly 22,000km2, being the largest national park in Kenya and one of the largest in the world. The park was split into two due to the railway going from Mombasa to the interior of Kenya.
MUNDANDA ROCK
The Mudanda Rock, in Tsavo East National Reserve in Kenya, Is an Ancient rock. The Rocky base is composed of wattheure Précambrien bassement rocks, âge 570-4,550 million years old. This massive, whale-backed looking rock is 1.5 kilometres long.

YATTA PLANTEAU

Main Attraction of Tsavo West
Tsavo West National park and Tsavo East National Park were once a single mega-park, they were separated decades ago, along a line coinciding with the Mombasa highway – and they feel like quite distinct national parks with different eco-systems: the open, flat-to-undulating plains and scattered bush of Tsavo East National Park and the much more wooded, hilly landscapes, dotted with volcanic cones and dramatic, black lava flows, that characterize Tsavo West National Park.

Shetani Lava in Swahili loosely translates to “the devil’s lava flow,” aptly named by superstitious locals. It overlooks Chyulu Hills. The flows were formed only a few hundred years ago and local peoples believed that it was the devil himself emerging from the earth.
Mzima springs
It is called Mzima Springs which are a series of four natural springs. It is a stream of crystal-clear water caused by the natural filtration process of the Chyulu Range. The spot was made famous Alan Roots 1983 film Mzima: Portrait of a Spring. He filmed crocodiles and hippos in their underwater lives. Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in Kenya with breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro (5894m)-Africa’s highest Mountain (in Tanzania). Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa. On the vast African grasslands, you can see its magnificent scene from far, far away.
